Student Leadership Team

The Student Leadership Team is a small team (12-15) of students whose goal is to lead other students by example. They may participate in planning school-wide events, communication with Hawk News, Boomerang Backpacks, service to the community, school-wide announcements, recycling, taking leadership roles during school-wide events, taking initiative in resolving school-wide problems or showing school-wide appreciation, speaking to guests, etc. Students learn what it means to be an example to peers and a lot about planning and coordinating things they are passionate about. They learn how to work as a team and collaborate with others. They are leaders in the school and our community. 

Any student in 3rd, 4th 5th grade can apply and a selection process takes place in the Fall.
