DeKalb Central Ambassadors: Get Involved!

DeKalb Central is launching the DeKalb Central Ambassadors program for the 2026–2027 school year. This program is designed to build stronger relationships, trust, and shared understanding between DeKalb Central Schools and our community.

Ambassadors will:

• Get an inside look at our schools, programs, and operations
• Visit classrooms and schools
• Meet with students and staff
• Learn about student services, athletics, fine arts, transportation, technology, safety, finance, and more
• Ask questions and provide meaningful feedback
• Help strengthen the connection between our schools and community

Time Commitment:
The program runs for eight months, October through May, with meetings generally held on the third Thursday of each month from 11:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m. Meetings will be held at the DeKalb Central Administration Office, with experiences taking place throughout the district.
