Next week, 8/25-8/29, students at Country Meadow will be synergizing to help bring a cure to ALS or "Lou Gehrig's Disease" through a Country Meadow version of the Ice Bucket Challenge. In a school wide meeting on 8/19 Mr. Miner spoke with students about ALS, the Ice Bucket Challenge, and how we can do more together via synergy. Classes will be competing to see which class can raise the most donations for the ALS Association, and the class that collects the most will then get to pick who they would like to see the ice water dumped on at school. This is a great opportunity to talk with our children about ALS, medical research, donating/getting involved, and how together we can accomplish great things.
